Premium Mobile Makeup Services | 2026 Bookings

Unlike traditional salons, Ministry of Makeup offers a premium, time based service tailored entirely to your schedule. We do not charge "per face" makeup rates, our team charges by the hour while onsite at your location, ensuring a relaxed, high end experience without the rush.

  • Hourly Makeup Rate: $200 per artist (per hour)

  • Minimum Booking Cost: $400

  • Reservation Fee: A 50% deposit is required to secure your requested 2026 date.

Location & Travel: Our standard hourly rate applies to all mobile locations within a 5km radius of the Cairns City center. For bookings across Greater Cairns or destination weddings, please contact us for a custom travel quote.

Your Makeup Inspiration

To help us bring your dream look to life, we love seeing your ideas! Once your date is secured, please email us a few reference photos of your favourite makeup styles.

We also highly recommend sending a recent, clear photo of yourself (both with and without makeup). This allows our team to study your beautiful features, skin tone, and personal style beforehand, ensuring we can perfectly tailor your inspiration images to suit your unique face.

T&Cs Introduction

By booking your session and securing your date with Ministry of Makeup, you confirm that you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • Secure Your Date: To lock in your wedding or event date, a non-refundable 50% reservation fee is required at the time of booking. Without this deposit, your date cannot be held.

  • Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance must be settled in full seven (7) days prior to your scheduled event date.

  • Payment Methods: We accept secure bank transfers. Any additional time accrued on the day (billed at $50 per 15 minutes per artist) must be settled before our artists depart the venue.

We specialise strictly in high end makeup artistry to ensure our clients get world class, focused expertise.

However, we completely understand the convenience of booking a package! To make your day as seamless as possible, we collaborate closely with trusted local hairstylists. Once your booking with Ministry of Makeup is secured, we will gladly connect you with our preferred hair partners to coordinate a flawless, stress free schedule for your wedding or event.

  • Early Bird Rates: For events requiring an exceptionally early start, a flat early morning fee applies to bookings commencing before 6:00 AM ($50 per artist) or before 5:00 AM ($100 per artist).

  • Hotel & Venue Parking: To ensure our team arrives safely with their heavy professional kits, secure parking must be provided and covered by the client. For hotel bookings, the cost of valet or secure on-site parking is to be charged directly to your room

  • The Perfect Canvas: For the absolute best results, we request that all clients arrive with a clean, freshly washed, and light, oil free moisturised face. Please ensure all remnants of old eye makeup or mascara are completely removed.

  • Sensitivities & Allergies: Your skin health is our priority. Please notify us of any known skin allergies, conditions, or extreme sensitivities prior to application. Ministry of Makeup is not liable for any unexpected allergic reactions to professional products.

  • Our Commitment to Your Privacy: As professional, paid artists, we deeply respect your privacy. We believe your special day is about you, not our marketing. Because we do not routinely post or share private images of our brides and clients without explicit enthusiasm, you will notice our public gallery is highly curated. Your comfort and privacy will always be our highest priority.

  • Optional Content Sharing: We love celebrating our clients when they want us to! If you are comfortable sharing your look, we would love for you to send photos or videos for us to feature.

  • Promotional Use & Tagging: With your verbal or written consent on the day, any images your send us may be featured on our website, portfolio, or social media channels. We are always thrilled to credit and tag you, your hair stylists, and your photographer! If you prefer a completely private session, no photos will be taken.

 

  • Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change. Because we block out our artists' schedules exclusively for you, the 50% reservation fee is strictly non-refundable upon cancellation.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within fourteen (14) days of the event date will require full payment of the total balance.

  • Amending Your Booking: Reductions in group size or required hours within 30 days of the event cannot be refunded. If you need to change your date, please contact us as soon as possible; while we will do our best to accommodate your new date, it is subject to team availability and may incur a transfer fee.
